i met this girl online...we've been talking since earlier this month...we really like each other however we never met each other face to face...despite that, we planned on meeting in my hometown during the 4th of july weekend...now im not a guy that will do anything to put a woman in danger (im 23 and she's 20 by the way), im very respectful towards girls, im a very nice guy, i know not to share any personal info (such as financial stuff, etc) to her, i plan on meeting her at a public place and stuff like that...however she lives 8 hours from me and i feel like that meeting half way would be a waste of time...im planing on getting a hotel just down the street from my home and we plan on paying half and half of the hotel bill....what i am going to do tonight is that im going to make SUPER sure that she still wants to this (she did agree to do this before but i still want to make sure she still want to do this) and that she feels very comfortable about doing this...i just don't want this to be a one sided thing where when we do see each other face to face, i may feel good and want to do all kind things for her while she's feeling very uncomfortable...for now until that time comes, im going to continue to call and instant message her like we been doing...getting to know her a whole lot better...the main thing i want from you all is your takes on online dating safety...what should i do if we still plan on meeting each other next month...mean i look forward of meeting her but i also want to make sure that we are both safe and stuff...
