I might go on a date with this really cute dude I met online. Spare me the safety speech... I kinda trust him and I would never meet him in a non-public place or accept a ride... etc. That's not my question really...
The thing is that I want to know where to go out w/this dude. What's a great place to go on a first date? I really want to get to know him, so the theater would be a bad place. What's a great place to go in LA that's both fun and/or romantic. He seems to be interested in me and I don't wanna disappoint?What precautions should I take? Not as in safety, but as in appearance, demeanor, conversation topics, etc.

I have this corny plan to take my year book and ask him to bring his... it'd be a good conversation starter, bringing in topics such as crushes, friends, signings, teachers, school environment, etc.? What do you guys think about this?
He IS 8 years older than I (not too much), any pointers on this?
