So this is embarrassing but I'm 21 and have never had a girlfriend. I dont have any friends, I did in High school but lost contact after that. Basically I have not social contacts right now. I work in a store and have been trying to work on flirting skills but it feels like slow going. When it seems like I'm getting somewhere she leaves or I just seize up. I'm trying to work past my extreme shyness but it is really hard.

I not religious so churches are out unless I want to start out lying. I don't drink either so don't really like the idea of a bar...

Any suggestions?
