What are your opinions on it? I met this guy online and he is amazing. I am going out with him and meeting him tomorrow. Since my parents are very overprotective he agreed to meeting them before we actually go out. I have seen pictures of him and talked to him, so I am pretty sure he is real, just in case though thats another reason why he is meeting me with my parents. Safety. So, since I am getting home from work around 7:45, I told him I would like time to get ready real quick, and then he will come and meet my parents and then we will go out. What should we do? It’s to late to eat dinner because we probably won’t leave until 8:30 or 9:00. Would coffee be good? or maybe icecream? I prefer not to eat on the first date because I am usually to nervous to eat. So, what do you guys think? Thanks a bunch.

A coffee date would be perfect because there’s not too much pressure and you can easily bail out if he’s not right for you. Be careful with the online dating though. Is it really a good idea to let this guy know where you live right away?

well yes coffee is a good start for first meeting date and it shows respect to you hes meeting your parents and not asking for a day your off work so he wont have to meet them but yes coffee shop a public place for first meet is great and who knows it may be a long term realtionship

you gave out your home adress to someone you have never met in person.
what if he comes your home with a gun?
what if he is a stalker?
well.. coffee shop date is a good idea though.
you should not have given out your home address.
the best way to meet online guys for the first time is. to meet somewhere public with your friends or sister besides you.
never ever give out your address at the first date.
